Spiritual Insights of the Summer

Walk with God

Keep walking although you are walking through the valley!

How Do YOU Respond to Adversity?

"Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that is taking place among you to test you, as though some strange thing happened to you. But rejoice in so far as you share in Christ's suffering so that you may rejoice and be glad also in knowing the revelation of His glory.

If you are reproached because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rest upon you. On their part, He is blasphemed, but on your part, He is glorified...Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God because of it.

For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God, and if it begins first with us, what shall the end be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?...So then, let those who suffer according to the will of God entrust their souls to a faithful Creator while continuing to do good."  (1 Pet 4:12-19).

It's not the tests in your life that mature you or demolish you, but rather your reaction to those adversities. It is how we react when difficulties feel overwhelming! There are three key things to do if you want to endure whatever you face, and they are to trust God, persevere, and remember that our Sovereign God is in control.

We will definitely meet difficulties along the way - sometimes intense and painful trials that seem too much for us. Yet we can rely on our heavenly Father to deliver and develop us in ways we could never imagine. He doesn't require that we endure in our own strength, but He does desire us to react positively and trust Him!!!

How do We Show Love Towards God?

Obedience demonstrates our love toward God!-

Binding Love

Love is what binds us together!

You are BeLOVED

"ACCEPTED IN THE BELOVED." (EPH. 1:6)
What a divine privilege! This includes our justification before Father God, But the term acceptance in the Greek means more than that. It signifies that we have divine approval. How wonderful that we, worms, mortals, sinners, should be the subjects of divine love! But be reminded it is only "in the beloved."

Some Christians appear to be accepted in their own experience, that is in their perception. When their spirit is full of life, and their hopes shining, they believe Father God accepts them, so they feel so charged, so heavenly-minded, so pulled above the earth!

However, on the other hand, when their souls cling to the dust, they are the victims of the fear that they no longer accepted. If only they can see that all their high joys do not exalt them, nor all their low deep depressions do not truly depress them in their heavenly Father's sight, but that they stand accepted in ONE who never changes, in ONE who is always the beloved of Father God, always perfect, always without spot or wrinkle, or any such thing, how much happier they would be, and how much more they would honour the SAVIOR!

Rejoice then, believer, in this: you are accepted "in the beloved." Look at Christ, and see whether there is not everything acceptable there. God has tossed your sins behind His back, and you are accepted in the RIGHTEOUS ONE. Most importantly, you are already accepted in Him who has overcome the powers of evil!!!-

You're not Forgotten

God hasn't forgotten you!

WALKING IN PEACE

Walking in peace with others is frequently difficult. You cannot always dodge strife. At times you must face it, get it out in the open, and attempt to come to some terms of peace.

Jesus taught the significance of choosing to live in peace with others. He said, "Blessed are the peace makers, for they shall be called the sons of God" (Mt 5:9). He expanded on the the significance of being a peacemaker when He said, "Blessed are you when men revile you, and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be very glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in this manner they persecuted the prophets who were before you" (vv 11-12).

God can heal our relationships and make peace possible. However, you must be willing to give up being right, being a victim, and expecting an apology from the other person.
The ultimate point of a peacemaker is to restore the relationship.

This is what Jesus accomplished for us when He died on the cross. He reconciled us back to God in order for us to become the sons and daughters of God.  Go forward and be peacemakers, in your attitudes, body languages, and facial expressions!!!-

How are you managing your time? As you might know from experience, God has different seasons for your life. Ecclesiastes bring back to the mind of this, "To everything, there is a season,a time for every purpose under heaven" (Ecc. 3:1).

When a season change and the Holy Spirit guides you in a new route, step forward in faith to obey. Do not be afraid of what your Father has designed. No one except God knows the end from the beginning, but if you take hold of His plan for your life, you will see Him do mighty works through you.

Time is a gift and is very precious. No time is wasted when you realize it's purpose. What is your purpose at this time? Use it to the glory of God!!!

Don't Speak Like a Victim

Don't use victim vocabulary. You'll encourage others to come against you!

Joy in Christ

Lasting joy will be found in Christ alone!

Are You Getting Stuck in a God Rut?

Many of us get stuck, upset, and confused when God doesn't work according to our timetable. Perhaps you have been asking Father to intervene in your crisis such as to rescue a wayward child, restore a broken relationship, heal your body or some else's, or resurrect a dream that is dead. It may seem that the Father is busy taking care the needs of others that He forgot about you!

When we face these frustrating delays, we automatically take for granted that He is denying us, neglecting us, or rejecting us. So we throw an immature pity party. We go in our rooms, shut our doors, and shut out the pain and withdraw as far away from Father as possible.

We lost the zeal to pray when we are in a faith crisis. The devil gets in our ears and tells us Father doesn't care about us. Also, some of us beat ourselves up with the classic line "I guess I just don't have enough faith."

Thankfully we don't have to stay in this self-made prison of discouragement. We can kneel in Father's presence, not to ask anything of Him but simply to gain strength from just being with Him. This is choosing to grow up!

When we surrender our life to Him, we are saying that we would follow Him not only during the good times but also in the dark days. Have you been falling into despair because your hopes have died, and you think God doesn't care?

Return back to Him and take your place in His presence. True children know that life operates on God's schedule, not ours. Press through your uncertainty, surrender your lifeless lives, renounce your impatience, and renew your trust in God, who is sovereign over your circumstances!!!

Say Yes to God!

God wants to be great in your life. Say yes to God!

God is a God of Increase

I believe God desires us to raise up our eyes and hearts and then start to accept the best. Get your hopes up as high as you can. Begin using your God-given imagination to squeeze all the possibilities He has for you. Roman 15:13 states, "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing so that you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit."

A heart overflowing with hope brings you joy and peace in accepting and expands the power of the Holy Spirit forward so that you, in return, can expand it to others. You should fuel your hope in God all the way up! His plans are much bigger than anything you can contemplate.

After all, He is the God of increase.  You and I are different as we were before we knew God. At that time "we were apart from Christ, alienated from the citizenship of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, without hope and without God in the world" (Ephesians 2:12). Now we are redeemed by Jesus, we have become God's children and we should behave like it. We should hope like it.

Commit to God

Commit to God's plan and purpose!

A Godly Walk

It takes trust in God to walk by faith!

Beyond Your Comfort Zone

Be followers of Christ although by following Christ will take you out of your comfort zone!

Cherish Life!

LIFE IS A GIFT! CHERISH IT!!!

God's Grace

"Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ." In Christ, God has given you His grace to overcome in every situation!-
