Focus and Overcome!

The only reason you can't experience God's glory is mainly because you're too busy gazing at your situation or problem and listening to the wrong voices! If you can take your eyes off of everything else and focus on your CREATOR, DELIVERER, SUSTAINER, HEALER and the LIFTER OF YOUR HEAD, you will be able to see how God is working in your life. Shout AMEN...

Pursue the Eternal

You're an OVERCOMER! Stop pursuing the seen. Instead, pursue the unseen which is ETERNAL! "Call somethings that be not as though they were."

Drop Your Stones

Do you see others' flaws and shortcomings, but do not see your own? Yet, you're ready to cast stones at others! How hypocritical is that? We're all guilty and deserve to be stone. So drop your stones and pray for forgiveness!!! Amen?

Rejoice when God Says "NO"

When God says "NO", REJOICE!!! For He sees the beginning and the end. Give Him Praise!

What are You Pursuing?

What are you pursuing? Fame? Popularity? Richest? Recognition? Position? The most important pursuit in a Believers' life is cultivating a relationship with God. He wants your loving devotion and intimate fellowship!!!

Don't Harbor Resentment

Are you harboring hidden resentment, bitterness, anger, hatred or unforgiveness toward someone? If you are it not only affects you, but it also affects those around you. It's time to let it go so you can move forward to bigger and better things in God! Amen?

Forgive

Forgiveness is key in the lives of every Believer. God requires it! "...Forgive us of our debts as we forgive our debtors..."

Why You Handle God's Business

If you take care of God's business, He takes care of your business affairs and fights for you. In other words God has your back! Give Him praise...

Your Gifts and Your Purpose

Are you focusing on the gifts of other people? It's all right to admire the gifts of others, but more importantly you need to use what God has given you. It doesn't matter what you feel or think about your gifts. God has said, "That your gifts will make room for you!!!

Dr. Yolanda Webster graduated with a doctoral degree from Columbia University, Teachers College. She served as a teacher for the Board of Education for many years in the area of music. Her teaching experience covers both elementary and secondary levels.
