Spiritual Thoughts for the 2nd Half of September

The Power of God

God has given you power to claim the truth of His Word. So walk in freedom.

Go for God!

God has given you everything you need to carry out His plan and purpose for your life! Remember God will provide the finance, people, direction and favor you need to get His agenda done in the earth. Go for it!!!

Do You Accept God's Discipline?

Are you learning anything from your failures? You should! They should be teaching you to fear God, hate evil, and walk in obedience. Going our own way, only produces great pain for us. Take the time to thank God for caring enough to send out His merciful discipline. So now the ball is in your court! How will you respond to God's discipline?

Put Your Trust in God No Matter What!

What do you do when you feel fear arising in you? You already know that fear is not from God! Therefore, put your trust in God no matter what! Those who trust in Him, He turns every loss, separation and difficulty into something good. God is the only constant in your life! Don't make the mistake of thinking He isn't simply because He does not operate according to your will or schedule!!!

Do You Know Your Source?

God is the Source of your identity! Keep your focus on the Lord, and the Word of God. Remember that the Lord has paid an enormous price to purchase you! (1 Corinthians 6:20) You are valuable to Father God. Trust in His Word and permit the Holy Spirit to change your self-awareness!!!

Inspiring Quotes from Dr. Yolanda Webster for September 2015

Don't Block God's Plan

Are you getting in God's way? By this I mean sticking your nose into situations you shouldn't. Believers are called to be compassionate to one another (Colossians 3:12), but we must also use discernment even when exercising kindness. Sometimes you allow your emotions to cloud your discernment. Above all things seek God's will before offering compassionate intervention, less you can block HIS plan!!! Amen?

Be in Agreement with God

Are you in agreement with God? If you are in agreement with Him about sin, than you are changing your mind about disobedience in your life! As God continues to work in your life, your mind will progressively reject old thoughts and norms, and you'll take on His way of thinking. This means new Thoughts, Attitudes and Actions! To God be the glory!

You're Blessed to Be a Blessing

Get over yourself! You're not the only gifted individual. God has given to all His children various gifts, talents, skills and abilities for His glory. Although we have different capabilities, these are used for the kingdom of God. So share your gifts freely while enjoying the gifts of others. Remember you are blessed to be a blessing!!!

Only GOD is Perfect

There is no such thing as a perfect person! But there is a perfect God. Hope is a gift from Father God to every Believer. Put your hope in God!!!

During Trials Focus On GOD

Do you know the purpose of your trials? As a Believer, you will experience trials that actually test your faith and ability to trust in God. However, God always has a purpose for your trials and will see you through each step of the way. So take heart, you're truly not alone during your time of testing! Focus on Him and you'll be able to view things from His perspective!!!

Inspiring Quotes from Dr. Yolanda Webster for August 2015

Dwell On God's Provision and Care

How well are you handling difficult circumstances? Are you dwelling on the situation at hand? Perhaps this is the very reason that your troubles seem insurmountable and overwhelm you with a sense of failure. Instead, dwell on God's provision and care. He is your Guide (Proverbs 3:6). He is your Healer (Jeremiah 17:14). And He is your Deliverer (2 Corinthians 1:10). Amen?

Where is God in Your Life

God must always remain first place in your life. Certain prayers such as a request for a spouse, a baby, or a loved one's deliverance could divert your attention from God. Although these petitions are all good, they are in second place! God will never share first place with anyone or anything!!!

Trust in God

Are you habitually wavering in your prayers instead of exercising bold faith? Well one of the main hindrances is a lack of trust. If you believe God is who He declares to be and will do what He promised, there is no stopping you from reaching higher heights or deeper depths in God!!!

God is the Only Constant in Your Life

Put your trust in God no matter what! Those who trust Him, He turns every loss, separation and difficulty into something good. God is the only constant in your life! Don't make the mistake of thinking He isn't simply because He does not operate according to your will and schedule.

God's Time is Key Time

Are you tired of waiting on God when everything within you are saying, "do something?" The right time is key in a believer's walk with God. You must trust His timing during essential decisions, uncertain direction, or pressing needs. The purpose of the wait is for God's will to be done. He alone knows what is best for you!

His Plan for Your Life

Waiting on God requires faith. The answer to the problem you may be facing is in God's hands. God is constantly at work behind the scene arranging and orchestrating experiences to bring into play His plan for your life. In TIME you will see proof of His faithfulness!!!

Can Good Be Against God's Will?

Are you aware there are two sides of good, positive and negative? Did you know that the enemy can use good to turn you away from God? There are some good that is indirect rebellion against God! Remember what happened to King Saul. Although what he did was good for the people of God, but , it was outright rebellion against what God commanded. Be not deceived because of good works or good deeds!!! http://ow.ly/QXWe9

To God be the Glory

Give God the praise for all the good in your life. For He is the source of all your good. He blesses the believer and the unbeliever, and the Lord has an abundance of goodness and blessings for His children. To God be the glory!

The Importance of Reading God's Word

How often do you feast off of God's Word? I am not referring to messages you hear in church. I am speaking about your personal time in the Word. The Bible states, "When your words came, I ate them; they were my joy and my heart's delight, for I bear your name, O Lord God Almighty" (Jer. 15:16). Read the Word daily to discover the mind of God.

Complete in Christ

Have you experienced rejection, abandonment, loss, divorce, or separation? Remember you're COMPLETE in CHRIST!!!

Persevere Towards the Promise

You are called to PERSEVERE! "Let us hold unswerving to the HOPE we confess, for HE who PROMISED is FAITHFUL!"

The Right Perspective Towards Turbulence

How do you look at your struggles, trials,, tests, or challenges? Are you in the habit of blaming others for your troubles? Well, unless you are willing to evaluate your struggles, storms, trials, or tests correctly, along with the right attitude, you are unable to grasp, perceive, accept, or recognize your New Season following the turbulence.

Say it and Mean it!

Say what you mean, and mean what you say, and do it!!!

Have Faith in God

Do you feel you do not possess enough faith? Well you're in for a rude awakening! According to Matthew 17:20 it says "...If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain Move from here to there and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. It is my prayer that your faith will not fail! Have faith in GOD!!!

The Power of What You Say or Think

Would you believe that you preach to yourself more than to others? Remember you're constantly, 24/7, telling yourself something positive or negative. Whatever you say can either make you or break you! "Be careful what you think because your thoughts run your life" (Proverbs 4:23).
